Est. since sunrise

A café that keeps slow hours .

Alpha Café began with a single copper kettle and a stubborn belief: coffee should taste of the hands that made it. We roast in small batches, pour by hand, and bake before the street wakes.

No rush, no queue-shaped mornings. Just a warm room, honest beans, and a seat that is yours for as long as you like.

How the morning is made

  1. 01

    Sourced by hand

We buy green coffee direct from three estate families in the Western Ghats — no middlemen, prices agreed over tea.

  2. 02

    Roasted small

Batches never exceed twelve kilos, so every roast is watched, smelled, and pulled at the exact second it sings.

  3. 03

    Rested, then ground

Beans rest four days to settle, then we grind to order at the bar — never before you ’ve sat down.

  4. 04

    Poured slow

Whether it ’s a shot or a filter, nothing here is hurried. Good coffee refuses to be rushed, and so do we.

“I ’ve tried every café on this street. This is the only one where the barista remembers my grind and my dog ’s name.”

“The saffron latte ruined every other latte for me. I message them the night before and it ’s waiting when I walk in.”

“Quiet, warm, unhurried. I ’ve written half a novel in the window seat and they never once rushed me out.”
